Expert Consultation Workshop on Capacity Strengthening in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Research for Sustainable Development in Africa

The African Technology Policy Studies Network will host a two-day Expert Consultation Workshop on Capacity Strengthening in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Research for Sustainable Development in Africa. The workshop is aimed at identifying key Science, Technology and Innovation policy research priorities for sustainable development in Africa. The workshop will be held in Naivasha, Kenya from 29 – 30 May 2012. The workshop will be attended by Key ATPS partners and potential collaborators in the implementation of the ATPS Phase VII Strategic Plan activities as well as shaping STI policy research priorities for Africa’s development in the coming decade. The outcomes of the workshop will also feed into the strategic priorities of the ATPS Phase VII Strategic Plan, 2013 – 2017 to build on the achievements so far.
